For urgent or same-day care, we may also have availability (check our “Services” page or call ahead).
How do I request my medical records?
Our New Patient Packet includes a release of records form so we can retrieve your previous records. Please fill it out and submit it with your registration.
How does Amana Medical Center handle billing?
We use an integrated electronic medical record (EMR) and billing platform called TalkEHR to manage all clinical documentation and billing processes securely. After your visit, our providers enter your clinical information directly into TalkEHR, and the billing department verifies, codes, and submits the claim electronically to your insurance company.
Who processes my insurance claims?
Claims are reviewed and submitted through TalkEHR’s third-party billing system. This partnership allows for efficient and accurate claim submissions, electronic remittance advice (ERA), and faster payment turnaround times from insurance companies.
How long does it take for insurance claims to be processed?
Most insurance claims are processed within 14–30 business days, depending on your insurance plan. Once your claim is processed, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance company detailing what was covered and any remaining balance.
How do I setup my patient portal?

Yes, we welcome same-day patients during our regular clinic hours. However, scheduling ahead can often reduce wait times, so feel free to call or request an appointment online.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
- A completed copy (printed) of our New Patient Registration packet
- Valid photo ID
- Your insurance card (if applicable)
Do I need to pay my copay at the time of visit?
Yes, copays and any known out-of-pocket costs are due at the time of service. This helps us prevent delays in claim submission and ensures accurate billing to your insurance provider.
How will I know if I owe a balance?
If your insurance company determines that you owe a portion (such as copay, coinsurance, or deductible), our billing system automatically updates your account in TalkEHR, and you’ll receive an electronic or mailed statement from Amana Medical Center. You can pay a balance Via Zelle by using our code: amana-2012 or pay over the phone/in-person.
What if I have questions about a bill or claim?
You can contact us at 321-765-7065 or email wecare@amanamedicalcenter.com. Please have your claim number or statement ready so our staff can assist you promptly.
